Been Awhile...

Hi Friends,

I know it's been awhile, but life has just been busy. A good thing though. Patrick and I are greatly enjoying married life. Let's see if I can catch everyone up on what has been going on.

In March we had Spring Break, and were able to travel to Starkville to see Adam, Amy, and of course Albe too. We had a great visit, and also went up to see the grandparents in Birmingham. In the middle of the week we went down to the coast to spend time with Patrick's family. It was a busy week, but we enjoyed visiting everyone.

Patrick and I have been baking a lot. When I got our Kitchen-Aid Mixer I really wondered if I would ever use it... well the answer is YES!!! We have really enjoyed it. We have made pound cake, cheesecake, 4-layer, chocoloate chip pie, among other things.. Don't worry we don't eat it all, we share with everyone.

For Easter Patrick's parents came to say with us. We had a great time with them here. Easter Sunday we went to church and got to sit with both sets of our parents. It was really special. That evening Lori and I even got to hunt Easter eggs. It brought us back to our childhood. It was always a tradition, one that I hope never dies. We enjoyed great food and fellowhip and above all else reflected on our Risen Savior.

We have been quite busy in the Lowery household... Oh yes, and the best news Patrick got a full-time job!!!!!!!!! He started part-time, then was offered something full-time. Talk about a blessing. God has been so faithful. We are so thankful for all of His blessings. Patrick is very happy and doing great. God really is good, all the time!

Whew... that's a lot of updates. I'll try and be better. Our journey continues.. this weekend includes baseball and the spring football game. Something my husband looks forward to each year.

Hello Out There!

I know... I know... I always wondered why people didn't update their blog like everyday! Ha, now I know.. Who has time!?! I just find myself not getting around to it each day. However, I wanted to let everyone know that I am still out here. And let me just say that married life is just wonderful! We love it! We have enjoyed it very much... I know I am biased, but I have an incredible husband.. For one, he cooks me dinner almost every night, just this week I came in from a late program and he had dinner on the table. Also, he drove me to a program I had on the coast. How nice he is! I have some wedding pictures on facebook, and I'll post some on here soon. They are amazing! I love to look at them. Just wanted to give a quick update. I am in for a treat tonight, I get to have dinner with my dear friend Samantha. It has been way too long. I am very much looking forward to it. I'll be back soon though!

Fun In The Snow!

Today, Patrick and I along with Lori and James had some fun in the snow. We had our first house guests. James has to go to USM later today and they needed to stay where they would not have to cross any bridges. We have had a very lazy, relaxing day. It's time for me to get some things done now. Oh well, I guess they will get done at some point. Patrick and I made breakfast this morning then we bundled up and got ready to play in the snow. We had a good time. Wonderful Wedding, Happy Honeymoon!

We're Back!

I know you have all missed us! Patrick and I had the most perfect wedding. It was just amazing. We could not have not asked for a better day. Thank you to everyone who helped make our day so special. As soon as we get our pictures I will post some for all to see. I can't wait to see them. Our photographer was just amazing! We have had a sneak peak, so I can't wait to see the rest of them.

Our honeymoon was amazing as well. We enjoyed two nights at The Hard Rock on the coast, then enjoyed a 5 day cruise to Progresso and Cozumel Mexico. We went to Ruth Chris at the Hard Rock. It was so good! We had an amazing dinner! We got to swim with the dolphins in Cozumel. It was a great experience and so fun to do with my new husband. I would highly recommend it. We can't wait to do it again. If you ever get the chance you really need to do it. We also got to do a tour on the ship called the "Behind the Fun Tour." We got to go behind the scenes of the ship. We saw where the crew sleeps and eats, behind the stage, the galley (where we got fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies, my favorite!), we went to the bridge and took our picture with the captain! It was so much fun. We really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed sleeping late and eating lots of GREAT food! We can't wait to cruise again!
