Happy Birthday, Happy Mother's Day, and an Update...

Whew... life has been so totally crazy! A good crazy, but crazy nonetheless. I have been wanting to update the blog, but there have not been enough hours in the day.

I have a few things I need to say first. And they are wishes that are late. I apologize, but better late than never.

First, I want to wish my husband a very happy, belated 25th Birthday!!!!!

We were in Birmingham this past weekend for Patrick's birthday. He got to go to the Senior PGA tour event with his best friend CT. They had a great time, and Patrick had a wonderful birthday. He got to see a lot of great golfers, and get autographs and pictures. He was in "heaven." I went to the tournament on Sunday. I have to say, it was not that bad. I enjoyed most of it. Of course they did go to a playoff, but all in all it was a great day.

We had a great weekend with our friends CT and Kara. And the bonus was I got to spend some time with Grandma and Poppa. It was really great to see them and spend time with them. We are looking forward to many more great weekends in Birmingham.

I hope you had a wonderful birthday Patrick. I hope all your wishes come true, and this is a great year for you!

Also on Sunday was Mother's day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom! and Happy Mother's Day to Mrs. Tammy!

Patrick and I are so blessed with wonderful moms. My mom has always been there for me, and loved me through it all. I really don't know what I would do without her.  She works hard, is a great advice giver, and loves beyond measure. I am so thankful for her. I love you Mom. I hope you had a wonderful day.

And Patrick has a great mom as well. She loves her baby boy, and has always been there. Patrick can always count on her to call and ask to see how his day was. We wouldn't know what to do without her either. She is a special woman.

Patrick and I hope both of you had a GREAT Mother's day!! You deserve it.

And a special Happy First Mother's day to my sister-in-law Amy! I know she has dreamed of this day for a long time. She is a mom to a precious little boy. Let me just say, I miss him so much. I cannot wait to get my hands on him.

Sweet boy, sporting his frog outfit for his daddy!

In other news, some very exciting things are happening in the Lowery household (and let me just say for the record, no I'm not pregnant). It has been a crazy few weeks. But, life is good and we are extremely blessed. Can't wait to fill you all in!
