A Day for Dads!

Happy Father's Day to two wonderful dads. My daddy and my father-in-law.

I am so blessed by my wonderful daddy. He is so gentle and giving, and I am so thankful for him. He has always been there, and always provided for our family. He is a wonderful example of what a father should be like. I hope you have a great day daddy. Happy Father's day to you. I love you very much!

And I am doubly blessed by my father-in-law. He has loved me like his own daughter. And the bond he has with his sons is so warming to see. We love you very much, and hope you too have a great day!

And a special Happy 1st Father's dad to my brother. It's hard to believe you are a dad, but I am so proud of the one you have become. Cameron is so blessed to have such a loving father.

A Belated Birthday and Anniversary

I never seem to be on time anymore... that is with my blog posts anyways. If you really know me, you know that I HATE to be late. I will try and be better.

But, I did want to say that my wonderful mother celebrated her birthday on Tuesday. Happy Birthday Mom! I hope that you had a great day. You deserve it. We are so blessed and thankful for you. We wish you many more wonderful birthdays!!!! We love you!

And, Adam and Amy celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary. Doesn't seem like it's been three years, but what year this has been. I know it was extra special as they looked back on this year. Cameron is such a joy and a blessing to all of us. We wish you many more wonderful years together. We love ya'll too!!!

Well, things are still moving along for us on this journey. Life has been crazy, but I'm not sure we would have it any other way.

This weekend will be busy for sure. Patrick's best friend is getting married this weekend. And since Patrick and I have been together, I have gotten to know CT and Kara as well, and are so thankful for their friendship. We are so excited to see them get married on Saturday. We wish them all the years of happiness.  It's sure to be a great day!!

The Journey

Well, I know it's been a little while since I have posted. Life has been a journey lately. We have stayed busy. After our wonderful weekend in Destin, Mom and I went to Jackson for a good friend's wedding. We also got to spend time with Lori. It was a great weekend, and a wonderful wedding of Grayson and Rachel. I am so happy for them, and I hope you will join me in praying for them as they will soon be preparing to go to India. They are such an inspiration of spreading God's love.

Last weekend, was also a wonderful wedding weekend, and it was Cameron's first trip to Hattiesburg. Katye and JT got married on Saturday, and it was a wonderful day. We wish them all the happiness as they begin this journey of marriage. It was a great week of spending time with friends and family too. Some great friends were in town for the weddings, and it was great to catch up with them, and have fellowship with them. I miss them greatly, but I look forward to the next time we can all be together. I loved spending time with Adam, Amy, and Cameron too. It was such a treat for them to be in Hattiesburg. Can't wait to love on that little boy again.

Life has for sure been crazy lately, but a good thing. Work has been crazy for us both, and let me tell you it is HOT down here. The summer heat is here, and it looks like it is going to stay. So excited we will be going on a cruise soon. We can't wait, it is going to be a wonderful vacation!!!
